Description

wood, brown patina, traces of black paint, a) rare “bo nun amuin” figure, h: 21 cm, slightly dam., abrasion of paint; such figures are owned by individual men and taken with them when they travel far from their own villages. They can make private sacrifices and receive some of the protection of the “bo nun amuin”;
b) headdress of the mask dancer reminding of monkey figure “gbekre”, h: 26 cm, slightly dam. (snout), cracks, rep. (breakage/base); such figures are used for many different cults.
