Description

iron, blade with three appendages, islamic characters are etched in both sides of the blade, the cutting edges are dull, handle wrapped in leather strings, min. dam., slight traces of abrasion;
such throwing knifes probably were symbols of authority. According to early, unverified reports, this type of knife is supposed to have been made in Omdurman and presented to the chieftains as a token of appreciation for their help by Arab traders.
