The tutelary deity “Vajrabhairava” is painted dark blue, standing on a broad lotus before an aureole of flames.
He has nine heads with the bull’s head in the centre and the Tantric crown of skulls and the features of the bodhisattva “Manjusri” above.
“Vajrabhairava” has thirty-four arms and sixteen legs. He holds in his hands different attributes as magical weapons and emblems symbolizing the struggle with the demons of ignorance and lust.
