Standing female figure

Description

wood, black patina, high-towering figure with the arms carved close to the body, slightly dam. (coiffure, navel), missing parts through insect caused damage (foot zone, base, left calf), base;
probably once beloning to a pair of figures. It may be suggested that the figure represents a bush spirit “asie usu”, which belonged to the property of a fortune teller. But unless collected in situ, the actual function of a figure cannot reliably be determined.
