Description

terracotta, blackish coating, carrying a child on her back, min. dam., small missing parts, slight traces of abrasion, socle;
the Nyamwezi are an important ethnic group numbering about 250000 people. They have their homeland in the western and central regions of Tanzania. Around the middle of the 19th century they then became known as ivory traders and also as allies to the Arabs.
