Description
wood, reddish brown patina, carved with a standing miniature figure on the backside, several drilled holes, cut at the bottom, slightly dam., cubic base;
squatting figures depict ancestors or the abodes of “spirits”, which were associated with the realm of the dead. Presumably once part of a music instrument (harp).
