Description

wood, polychrome paint, partly encrusted patina, typical posture (hands) and modelling of the face (grooved scarifications), dam., missing parts through insect caused damage, cracks, water spots, traces of abrasion, on metal base;
used to be kept in ritual houses of communities and families. Once a year they were presented in public. The relationship between man and deity was strengthened by celebrities and sacrifices.
