wood, black patina, encrusted in some areas, with cross bolt, prominent head ornament, incised ornamental decor, slightly dam., missing parts (both foot tips), abrasion of paint, traces of usage, base;
this locks offered the protective power of ancestral spirits to the granary it guarded.
