Description
light beige ceramic with remnants of white pigment and calcareous deposits, loss, restorations to the right ear and ear plug, as well as to the trunk, rest.
A shallow, recessed bowl with thorn-like projections along the lower rim, set on a cylindrical base with an elaborately pierced front, depicting the highly stylized head of the rain god “Chaac”. He is shown with a trunk-like, upward-curving nose and two downward-curving fangs.
