wood, greyish brown patina, round post with columnar neck, supporting a stool-like object: disc-shaped base with 9 angular struts, surmounted by a mushroom-like top, fissured surface because of weathering, the post with extrem traces of insect caused damage, missing parts (one strut);
the exhibition catalogue “Dogon”, Musée Branly, 2011, identified a comparable piece as “post with toguna depiction”.
