wood, reddish brown patina, black paint, remains of “osun”, two necklaces (glass beads), one string around the hips (coconut discs), male/female, both wearing the same coiffure, narrow pear-shaped faces with the big eyes arranged lateral, the islamic triangle “tirah” on breast and back, carved with high sandals, the facial features strongly abraded (forhead, nose, mouth), old rep. (breakage at the right foot of the male figure fixed with metal clamps), nail heads (pupils) missing
