Description

wood, blackish brown patina, moustache and chin beard of animal skin, fixed by metal tags, blackish mass in the mouth area, clay-like whitish mass on the head, inserted animal teeth and claws, jagged chaplet, slightly dam., minor missing parts at the back of the rim;
“bagle” denotes an acting mask for entertainment. The mask figures wig consists of cotton fiber or frazzles of cloth, the costume is a tippet or a large skirt made of plant fibers. The mask appears for entertainment, the dancer beats the audience with a hooked stick and throws objects he finds on his way.
