Description
light wood, blackish brown patina, expressive forms: spherical cheeks, saucer-shaped projecting ears and vaulted headdress, ring of plantfibre and cord for support, old collection number handwritten in black on white fond backside at the coiffure “AJP 1299”, dam., traces of old age, minor missing parts and abrasion of paint;
this mask was probably used by an antiwitchcraft society.
