the Ngangela are an ethnic group numbering about 50,000 people. They have their homeland on the banks of the Cubango River in the central Highlands of Angola, to the north- and to the southwest of Chitembo. Their masks and art works are heavily influenced by the Chokwe, the former being mainly produced of plant fibres, twigs, and barks, but also of wood.
