Description
ceramic, partially finished with a creme white and dark red slip, exhibiting traces of facial painting and black-painted geometric motifs, repairs and minor restorations
The figure wears a helmet with a feather crest and a cuirass made of basketry or hide stretched over a wooden frame. As with most of the so-called “warriors,” the figure’s gaze is turned to the left.
