Description

wood, brown patina, black paint, encrustations with camwood powder, striking large hands and feet, the latter carved with elaborate sandals, massive necklace with islamic triangle “tirah” on breast and back, unusual: lowered head and eyelids, facial features rubbed off, pierced pupils, diamond-shaped deepened sign of the carver on the underside of the base, slightly dam. (crest).
