wood, shiny dark brown patina, black paint, strings with coconut discs and miniature glass beads, strong encrustations with clay and camwood powder “osun”, a pear-shaped face with pyramidal protruding eyes and tapering mouth, scarifications on the cheeks, old collection number handwritten in white paint at the bottom of the base “1693”, slightly dam. (right ear), cracks in the spread material (ankles), rubbed facial features (from feeding procedures)
