Large earrings are rarely found complete with all silver chains. They are often decorated with small “khamsa” or spiral pendants.

Cast earrings of this type are found on both sides of the Tunisian-Algerian border.
small round fibula, Aurès / Mzab, metal (?), cast and engraved, d: 6.2 cm; w: 23 g
two “omega” fibulas with needles, silver alloy (?) and bronze, each cast and engraved, m: 5 cm x 9.7 cm, w: 66 g; m: 4.9 cm x 11 cm; w: 59 g
“Omega” fibulas were mainly used individually, e.g. to fasten face veils. In complete condition they are rare !
