Hayden & Odette Walling, USA, collected in situ in the 1950’s;Hayden Walling worked as administrator of the World Health Organization in Kpain, Liberia. He and his wife Odette befriended Dr. George Harley, the prolific field collector and author of the monograph Notes on the Poro in Liberia (1941) who advised them on their collecting.
