light wood, red pigment, kaolin, black paint, deeply hollowed bowl-shaped base, superimposed mask face with concave vaulted facial plane and pierced eyes and mouth, the latter carved with a jagged row of teeth, painted with linear and dotted tattoos, slightly dam., minor missing parts (mouth, nose), abrasion of paint
