Description

wood, brown paint, red ochre and lime, flat body cut out in silhouette, ornamental facial features, the body coated with ornaments, which are accentuated by ridges, traces of insect caused damage, rep. (breakage at the left foot), cracks, metal base;
the “bioma” presumably were used as skull racks, respectively for attachment of skulls, just like the “agiba” of the Kerewe. They should have a positive function in relation to hunting as well.
