Ténenkou is a small district close to Mopti, Mali, west of the Inland Delta. A number of terracotta figures were found in its vicinity, dating from the 12th to the 16th century, and apparently discovered only around 1990. (Schädler, 1992, p. 42)

The object Zoomorphic terracotta sculpture with the object ID 3052422 was part of the auction Auction 105 on November 15, 2025, lot number 244 at that time and is currently available for EUR 2,000 in Open sale.
