wood, encrusted patina, polychrome paint, in form of a bird (rooster ?), painted and incised geometrical ornaments, pierced around the rim, min. dam., cracks, traces of abrasion;
the Bobo use a great variety of masks. They are used on three important occasions: male initiation ceremonies, thanksgiving, and funerals.
