Description

light brown wood, matt patina, broad nose, protruding mouth, two small horns/ears, dam., cracks, traces of insect caused damage;
depicting a person called “the hunter”. The masks are carved by the person who wears it lateron. It is completed by a plant fibre costume which covers the most part of the body.


The object Zoomorphic mask with the object ID 3034357 was last part of the auction 72nd tribal art auction at March 9, 2013 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 211 achieved a sales price of EUR 1,200.
