Description
wood, encrusted black, white and red pigment, cord, in form of a buffalo(?) head, completely decorated with incised and painted ornaments, rep. (right horn), missing parts, slight traces of abrasion, on base;
the animal masks represent “spirits of the wild” at which a lineage feels especially related to and expects protection at the field work.
