Description
wood, shiny blackish brown patina, provided with a short snout and a flat little nose, the forehead vaulted, possibly depicting an antelope, drilled holes around the lower rim, minor missing part (head), minor damaged area on the left side, abrasion of paint;
“lipiko” masks appeared at initiation celebrations. They were worn by the young initiates “vaali” at the “mapiko” masquerade.
