Crowned by a seated male figure flanked by carved horns filled with magical power.

Probably attributable to the “kponyugo” (“head of the poro”) type of mask, which always combines features of different animals with the intention of creating the most frightening appearance possible. The large mouth, armed with strong teeth, is intended to reinforce this impression.


The object Zoomorphic helmet mask with the object ID 3052189 was part of the auction Auction 105 on November 15, 2025. The object with the lot number 276 achieved a sales price of EUR 950 with an asking price of EUR 600.
