Description
light brown wood, encrusted dark brown patina, kaolin, sacrificial traces, of nearly rectangular broad form, crowned by a small pair of horns, dam., missing parts through insect caused damage, cracks, traces of abrasion;
the combination of human and animal features conveys the dual nature of the mask type “otobo”, which is half-human and half-beast.
