ceramic (stoneware), ash glaze (“anagama” kiln), sign.

The pottery Thomas Henle exists since 1979, since 1990 it is situated in a small town near Wurzburg.

In his more than 30 years of creative work, Henle, in his constant search for new types of artistic expression, draws on medieval forms while employing a wide variety of ceramic techniques.

In this way, his Japanese ceramics line was created, which includes the production of ceramics using the “raku” technique as well producing tea ceramic pottery. Traditional forms and techniques of Japanese ceramic art are taken up and reinterpreted by Henle.
