wood, light brown patina, black paint, a) carved with a janus-head with both faces depicted in profile, crowned by a disc-shaped flattened coiffure, l: 56 cm, h: 29,5 cm; b) the smaller stool carved with just one head with a projecting crested coiffure, l: 49 cm, h: 33,5 cm, both of the stools slightly dam., cracks (coiffure, legs of the stools);
possibly a work of the sculptor Sikire Kambire, Gaoua (compare P. Meyer, 1981, ill. 189) or his surroundings.
