Description
wood, greyish brown patina, encrusted in some areas, nearly identical formed bodies with round bellies, unusual formed faces with short “knob noses”, slightly dam., cracks, missing parts through insect caused damage on the backside of the smaller figure, on base;
because of the malformation of the faces presumably belonging to the type of “bateba ti bala” (“extraordinary people”).
