a) bark cloth, from bark of the Mutuba tree (“ficus natalensis”), tripartite, reddish brown ground, decorated with painted herringbone pattern in black, jagged pattern along rim, various original repairs, traces of usage, minor missing parts/porous material in some places, roughened surface, m: 248 cm x 177,5 cm; b) bark cloth, bipartite, reddish brown ground, various pieces of cloth attached, mended in several places, minor missing parts and holes, m: 160 cm x 158 cm
