Both boxes are superb examples of Kuba woodcarving.They are almost completely covered with artistically incised patterns that are reminiscent of the textile patterns of the Kuba.


The object Two lidded boxes and a drinking horn with the object ID 3046710 was part of the auction 94th Tribal Art Auction on March 7, 2020. The object with the lot number 312 achieved a sales price of EUR 650 with an asking price of EUR 500.
