Description

wood, blackish brown patina, encrusted in some areas, a) “jo nyeleni” figure with schematized body and accentuated breasts, slightly dam., such figures embody the spirits of those women who once founded the cult of “jo”. They represent the ideal beautiful young woman. They appeared at big initiation festivities which only took place in a seven years turn; b) standing figure with both hands resting aside the navel, large c-shaped ears, rep., cracks, sightly dam.
