Description

Both anklets are very elaborately made and in excellent condition.

Aluminium was processed into jewellery objects, especially in southern Morocco and in the neighbouring areas of the Sahara, soon after its industrial availability in the early 20th century. The interest in this new, light metal was very great and it had - at least originally - by no means the connotation of being “cheap”.
