Description

from ivory with bell mouth made from wood, fixed by animal skin firmly strapped by leather strings, ivory and wood dyed with reddish brown patina, the ivory head flattened on both sides and decorated with engraved circle pattern, the bell mouth in the lower area carved with a broad band filled with linear decor in bas-relief, collection number “383”, slightly dam., probably a piece of animal skin supplemented, abrasion of paint
