wood, dark brown patina, one half of the stem covered with copper sheet, the other half with black dyed animal skin, pipe head lined with sheet metal, underside of the stem carved with ring-shaped projection for comfortable use, slightly dam., traces of old age, copper sheet partly corroded, base;
a specific feature is the sculptural effect of this piece for everyday use: reversed the pipe head forms a zoomorphic face and the ring-shaped projection a kind of mane.
