A work by the same artist illustrated in Cole,1984, p. 50, fig. 71. Both stools show the same distinctive structure of interlocking struts. The design of the base plate with linear engravings and small bird sculptures also matches.

Title stools are important visual markers for the social rank and prestige of its owner. While stools were carved in many Igbo communities, Awka carvers are the best known.
