wood, a) remains of polychrome paint, h: 19 cm, angled arms and legs, dam., insect caused damage, cracks, paint rubbed off; b) remains of polychrome paint, h: 26 cm, hole in the parting, min. dam., fissures, insect caused damage; provenance: Bernd Muhlack, Kiel, Germany; Coll. Baronin de Pierrebourg; c) middle brown patina, h: 20,5 cm, angular legless torso, short arms and reduced facial features, min. dam.;
presumably representing guardian figures, which are used to be kept in niches in the wall and sometimes contain medicine, inserted in cavities in the body.
