Description

wood, reddish brown patina, each lanceolate and lense-shaped in cross-section, wooden thorn fixed by resin, remains of cord and fabric, slightly dam., missing parts.
Spear throwers were used as a lever to project spears with great force. It increased the range and speed of the spear.
