Description

raffia palm fibre (“raphia vinifera”), each in two parts, a) m: 69 cm x 61 cm; b) m: 77 cm x 58 cm; c) m: 77 cm x 64 cm

Each textile is part of a women’s dance dress “ntshak” and is decorated with geometric and arrow-shaped applications, the contours of which are accentuated by stem embroidery.
