a) Burkina Faso, Tusian, zoomorphic pendant with calao bird, leather eyelet for attachment, h: 7 cm, base - worn as an amulet, this miniature bird provides protection against diseases and other misfortunes

b) Burkina Faso, Tusian, anthropomorphic pendant, h: 6.2 cm, base

c) Côte d’Ivoire, Senufo, anthropomorphic divination object, h: 8.3 cm - these figures were attached to the wrist with the help of leather cords during various ceremonies and served, for example, to indicate a certain degree of initiation.
