Description

wood, all three in the same form, decorated with delicate plaited band patterns, min. dam., slight traces of usage, partly small missing parts;
the form of the neckrest reminds of the head and horns of a bush cow.
It looks insecure, and indeed it was. But this was taken for advantageous. For a deep and undisturbed sleep was not possible under these circumstances and therefore the mens alertness was much higher.


The object Three neckrests with the object ID 3041230 was last part of the auction 84th Tribal Art Auction at November 5, 2016 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 85 achieved a sales price of EUR 600.
