greenish stone, facial features and limbs marked by notches, min. dam., small missing parts, slight traces of abrasion, base;
the Mezcala idols of Mesoamerica developed from objects formed like stone axes. In the course of time the differentiation of human forms was increased, but the basic elements of the axe shape were retained.


The object Three idols with the object ID 3037911 was last part of the auction 79th Tribal Art Auction at March 21, 2015 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 70 achieved a sales price of EUR 1,400.
