Description

brass, zigzag-shaped bodies, various sizes, h: 3,5 cm - 5 cm, min. dam., slight traces of corrosion;
such small figures, depicting one or more characters, are called „anyedos“. They are pendants with protective function and it is prooved that they were used to weigh gold dust as well.


The object Three figural amulets with the object ID 3042359 was last part of the auction 86th Tribal Art Auction at May 27, 2017 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 252 achieved a sales price of EUR 1,100.
