Description

wood, dark brown patina, handles are built similar to a ritual dagger “phurba”, with triangular blade, showing all the necessary shamanic tools and symbols, slightly dam., minor missing parts, abrasion of paint;
the frame drum “dhyangro” is played by the shaman “jhakri”, it is used in healing and trance rituals.


The object Three drum handles “dhyangro” with the object ID 3041288 was last part of the auction 84th Tribal Art Auction at November 5, 2016 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 48 achieved a sales price of EUR 200.
