brass, a) h: 12 cm, d: 7,5 cm; b) h: 11 cm, d: 9 cm; c) h: 8,5 cm, d: 8,5 cm; massive rings, round bodied on the outside, decorated with fine grooved decor, partly concentrical half circles, circumferential slit; additional: d) a smaller ring, h: 4 cm, d: 7 cm;
“kperengangobli” anklets were used both, as primitive money and as ornament. They were made with lost wax fusion process. Empty inside to make them lighter. Sometimes these anklets were kept above the family altars as a sign of prestige.
