Three ancestor figures "adu zatua"

wood, dark brown patina, heads with crown-shaped headdress, board-shaped flattened arm- and legless bodies, slightly dam., abrasion of paint, rep.;
even those “adu zatua” in simplified form were lashed to horizontal bars. They were combined with more elaborate carved ancestor figures. The higher the rank of the deceased, the more the image was finely carved and the more it was provided with jewellery.
