Brummelhuis was a well-known notary as well as Honorary Consul of Mongolia. After being appointed Consul in 1995 he started to collect works of art from this region.

“Vaisravana” is one of the four heavenly kings. He is first and foremost the god of war and, as such, the patron saint of warriors.


The object Thangka: “Vaisravana”, 18th century with the object ID 3045524 was last part of the auction 91 Tribal Art Auction at March 9, 2019 on Zemanek-Münster Auction house. The object with the lot number 31 achieved a sales price of EUR 2,500.
