Description

earthenware/ ceramic, eleven-part, dark red coating, with black discoloration, tea and milk pot, sugar bowl, six cups with saucers, two pastry bowls, band decor with incised ornaments, small missing part (one cup), rest. (lid of the teapot)

This work from the colonial period is an example of the incorporation of European moulds into traditional African pottery.
